Sejak kelas 3 SD saya menderita sakit amandel. Tahun 1993 dokter memvonis saya harus operasi karena amandel saya sudah akut, tapi saya tidak mau. Sejak itu minuman dingin, kerupuk dan sejenisnya menjadi pantangan saya. Sedikit saja minum es atau makan krupuk langsung panas, tenggorokan sakit karena amandelnya bengkak.
Akhir 2010 Bp. Sonny memobilisasi jemaat untuk berpuasa dan beliau mengatakan akan ada kesembuhan saat kita berpuasa. Saya terima itu, dengan tiba-tiba amandel saya sembuh. Saat berbuka puasa, karena haus, saya minum air es sangat banyak dan saya baru sadar tenggorokan saya tidak sakit.
Saya periksa ke dokter dan bertanya apakah saya ada sakit amandel? dokter berkata tenggorokan saya normal, tidak ada sakit amandel. Tuhan memang dahsyat! Penyakit yang saya derita selama puluhan tahun bisa hilang begitu saja. DAHSYAT!!

Since third grade I have suffered from a sore tonsil. In 1993 my doctor verdicted that I had to undergo tonsil surgery because it was already severe, but I refused to do so. Since then cold drinks, crackers and the like became my abstinence. Just drank a little cold drink or ate crackers my throat directly became hot, my throat was hurting due to the thyroid swelling.
At End of 2010, Ps. Sonny mobilized the congregations to fast and he said there would be healing when we fasted. I received that word, and my tonsils suddenly got healed. Upon ending the fast, because I was thirsty, I drank a lot of ice water and I realized I was not having a sore throat.
I checked to a doctor and asked if I had a sore tonsil. The doctor said my throat was normal, no sore tonsil. God is awesome! The disease that I have suffered for decades, could disappear just like that. AWESOME!
