At the moment we were born again, God had implanted His spiritual DNA in us, that’s what makes us become children of God. When we live in our spiritual DNA of new creations which God has planted in our lives, we will be able to live just as God lives, otherwise, if we deny it, we will experience inner conflict.
“Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new” (2 Corinthians 5:17)
“Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God” (1 John 3:9).
There are at least three spiritual DNA of new creations which God has planted in our lives that we need to know so we can live in them:
1. Forgiving Spiritual DNA.
“And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors” (Matt. 6:12).
As our Father is merciful then we are His children also have forgiving DNA. For us to forgive is not a difficult thing because that’s our DNA.
Just as a fish does not need swimming lessons to live in the water because that its nature, then we also do not have to struggle to forgive because that’s our nature. If we try moving a fish to land, then it will be confused and floundering. All would feel odd for it because living on the land as opposed to its nature.
So if we do not forgive then things will feel strange. We become difficult to pray, and then suddenly appear sickness that we have never contracted before.
As long as we live according to the forgiving DNA, our lives will be smooth, trouble begins to emerge if we live outside of the DNA. Everything will feel strange and disturbing when we don’t live according to our nature.
2. Winner Spiritual DNA.
“Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? As it is written, For thy sake we are killed all the day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter. Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us” (Romans 8:35-37).
Our Father is a winner then we, His children, also have winners DNA, in fact, more than winners. We can solve all problems: tribulation, distress, persecution, famine, nakedness, peril, sword, and even death. We will be able to face dan solve all the problems, and we will come out victorious because we are winners.
Realize that we are winners! Therefore act like a winner. We will face any problems that exist without fear because we know we will be victorious!
3. Impact/Influence Carrier Spiritual DNA.
“Ye are the salt of the earth: but if the salt have lost his savour, wherewith shall it be salted? it is thenceforth good for nothing, but to be cast out, and to be trodden under foot of men. Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid. Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick; and it giveth light unto all that are in the house. Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven” (Matt. 5:13-16).
Our Father is an impact or influence carrier. Everywhere He goes that area is going to change, whoever He meets will definitely change. That is the spiritual DNA of new creations which God has planted in our lives . Realize we are placed in this world so that we might become influencers. Being salt that marinates and light that illuminates.
As long as we live according to our spiritual DNA, continue to make an impact and positive influence on people around us, we are accepted and respected by everyone. But if we do not live up to our spiritual DNA, the salt loses its saltiness, then we will be the people who are not useful, we will be thrown and trampled.
Realize that there is a spiritual DNA of new creations which God has planted in our lives, namely a forgiving person, a winner, and an impact carrier. Live like that and don’t be less from that!
