Because one man’s sin, Adam, death reigns over our lives and causes us to die. We all believe that fact is true. But there is even truer facts, namely: Because the righteousness of one man, Jesus, we receive the abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness that makes us alive and not just living, but live and reign. In the Amplified Bible translation the words ‘live and reign’ are translated “reign as kings in life”, meaning, “reign in life as king,” in other words because of Jesus we can “rule in life as kings rule.”
For if by one man’s offence death reigned by one; much more they which receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness shall reign in life by one, Jesus Christ (Romans 5:17).
Ever since we are born again, God gives us authority to rule as kings in this life. We are sons of the King of kings, that is why we also have the kingdom’s authority to rule with our Father. We are not just born again as a weak and abjectly helpless person. We are born again to rule.
So believers ought to reign in this life. If we do not use that authority to reign in this life we will become ‘history victims’. If we rise to reign in this life we will be ‘history makers’
Since this day, begin to reign in your life. If you see something bad happens, begin to rule, don’t just keep quiet. Start to speak! Command everything to return to normal and be good.
If you see things that are not going as they should, don’t just keep quiet! Begin to rule! Command everything to go well and smoothly as it should.
If you see everything in your life doesn’t happen the way God said, don’t just keep quiet. Rise up and rule! If you do not rule, everything in your life will dictate you. Therefore, rule! Command everything in your life to be like God said.
If your ministry, family and finances haven’t become as God has said, rule! You have to organize every area of your life to be like God said.
That is our fate, rule in life as kings rule. So rule until everything you command becomes reality!
