“And now I commend you to the care of God and to the message of his grace, which is able to build you up and give you the blessings God has for all his people” (Acts 20:32 TEV).

As believers, we must live in the grace of God, because outside from grace we can not do anything. It is the grace of God that makes us safe and enables us to live as children of the Kingdom. By grace, we begin our journey of faith, and also because of His grace we will end in triumph. But for us to keep abiding in His grace we need the Word of grace.
If we do not accept the Word of grace, we are difficult to live in grace. That’s why it’s very important to note what kind of Word that we have received so far? If until now we still continue to live in struggle, it shows that the word that we has received was not the Word of grace.
The Word of grace has the power to:
1. Build.
If we accept the Word of grace, our lives will be built into the house of the living God and our lives would experience significant growth and change, even to our social status.
“My dear friends, remember what you were when God chose you. The people of this world didn’t think that many of you were wise. Only a few of you were in places of power, and not many of you came from important families” (I Corinthians 1:26 CEV).
The first time Paul came to Corinth, the church there were not people who were wise, influential or respected. But Paul released the Word of grace, so that the congregation lived in grace, and therefore they experienced spiritual growth that changed their life and social status, so that now they became wise, influential, and respected men in their community.
The Word of grace has power to build not merely to bless. Word of grace enables us to do everything we humanly can not do. Word of grace makes us live in the divine potential. Word of grace makes us no longer live by what we have or not have, by what we are capable or not capable of doing, but based on what heaven has for us.
2. Confer a legacy that has been set for the believers.
When you accepted Jesus as Lord and Savior for the first time and we are born again, we actually receive the “salvation blessing package” There are many divine facilities in it. That’s the legacy that should be our part.
“Let us give thanks to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! For in our union with Christ he has blessed us by giving us every spiritual blessing in the heavenly world” (Ephesians 1:3 TEV).
Every spiritual blessing in Heaven is part of our heritage.
“God’s divine power has given us everything we need to live a truly religious life through our knowledge of the one who called us to share in his own glory and goodness. In this way he has given us the very great and precious gifts he promised, so that by means of these gifts you may escape from the destructive lust that is in the world, and may come to share the divine nature” (II Peter 1:3-4 TEV).
Living in the Divine nature (live as God lives) is part of our heritage.
There are a lot of heritage that should be our part, but so far we have not been able to accept it because there is no powerful Word of grace which confers legacy that has been set to be accepted by us.
Word of grace will reveal the legacy of what has been set to become our part and the Word of grace also enables us to achieve what has been disclosed, so that we actually live by what Heaven has for us.
Let’s evaluate, is what you received so far the Word of grace? If yes, you must have been built into the house of God which represents the life of God Himself and you must have received the legacy that has been set from the beginning to be your part.
Enjoy the Word of grace, and keep living in it!
