In the previous article we have learned about the grace that is given by God in a form of a person. We need to recognize the person who is sent by God to be a boon for us. We have to be able to identify him. What are the characteristics of recognizing representative grace? They are as follow:

1. When he speaks, our spirit often flares up.
When we hear him speak or preach, our spirit flares up very strongly. Various dreams, longing, faith, hope, and spirit blaze that had been dead or nearly dead suddenly rise again. Spirit inside us is like jumping for joy but also moved, but certainly something divine is happening in us.

2. When we connect with him/his teaching, there are many divine breakthroughs that we experience.
As we continue to connect with him and pursue his teachings, there will be various divine breakthroughs that happen in our lives. Our spiritual position is increasing so that what has been a struggle for us before, slowly but surely is being eliminated.

Opportunities that had been closed are beginning to open. We are beginning to enjoy the grace of God through his life. We don’t do many things, but we receive many things and many things happen in our lives.

Biblical example:
Just as God sent Gideon to be a boon for Israel, when he blew the trumpet, the people of Israel that had been thirst for liberty responded to his call. Those who had been gripped by fear and had lost hope, suddenly had something stirred inside them and broke through any fears that exist.

With new faith and hope, they responded Gideon’s call to fight against the Midianites. And when they connected with Gideon together to fulfill the will of God for them, they had victory. All unresolved struggle for 7 years suddenly vanished just like that. They experienced the liberation of grace through the life of Gideon.

“The spirit of the LORD took control of Gideon, and he blew a trumpet to call the men of the clan of Abiezer to follow him. He sent messengers throughout the territory of both parts of Manasseh to call them to follow him. He sent messengers to the tribes of Asher, Zebulun, and Naphtali, and they also came to join him” (Judges 6:34-35 TEV).

“So Midian was defeated by the Israelites and was no longer a threat. The land was at peace for forty years, until Gideon died” (Judges 8:28 TEV).

That’s the characteristics that we can experience when we meet a man who God has sent to be a grace representative for our lives. And then, if we continue to connect with him and continue to pursue his teaching, then we will continue to live in His grace.

Recognizing representative grace is very important for us in order to received grace of God. Good luck of finding and enjoying the grace that God has prepared for each of us. Amen!
